SignSupport is a mobile application that helps build communication between a Deaf person and a pharmacist when a Deaf person visits a pharmacy


SignSupport was designed by Prang and then implemented by one of University of the Western Cape's former Masters Computer Science student Mr Michael Mothlabi.In 2013 Mr Lindokuhle Duma another Computer Science Honors student made modifications to signSupport by bringing in the security and confidentiality of the Deaf people's information, ensuring that the information is safe and secure.


My aim is to also make modifications to SignSupport by adding a video notification into the application to remind a Deaf user when to take a given medication.The notification must show the picture of the medicine
and then a sign language video that informs the user how to take it.
