The World Health Organization estimates that 4.6 million people die each year from causes directly attributable to air pollution. Many of these mortalities are attributable to (indoor/outdoor) air pollution. Worldwide more deaths per year are linked to air pollution than to automobile accidents.

Have you heard about air quality on your local TV, radio station, or your newspaper? If you haven’t, hopefully you will soon.

The Air We Breathe Might Be Polluted

Why I am Interested in SCPM

Smart Cities Pollution Monitoring(SCMP)g is a project based on cyber health. We are more concerned with the well being of the people. We strive to use our computer science skills to improver the living condition of people.

My Last Five Years

I became a Math tutor at two high schools in Samora Machel helping township school students to improve their Math skills. This was a challenging experience, but I enjoy helping the students to achieve their full potential.

One org whose social impact...

I really believe in the social impact of the Adonis Musati Project, an organization that works with migrants and foreign nationals. It was named in honour of an asylum seeker who died of starvation while waiting to be documented.

My Hobbies and interests

“Song of Solomon” by Toni Morrison is one of my favorite books, the first that I “loved and read cover to cover in one day.” And my two favorite children’s books: “Goodnight Moon” and “Where the Wild Things Are.” Then I love travelling!

The air we breathe minght be poullated, our aim is to reaserch on a potential solution for gauging the pollutants in the air analyse them and display the result to the user for personal awareness.

There are various sources of pollutions that poluate the air we breathe, under The URD we have collected the user persective of the problems and how the air pollution implact the user's health fatally.

Our analysis under RAD has been to think and analyse potential solution to air pollution, what are the element that polluate the air and what are the causes for those pollutants and the users get exposed to them.

The following are the major pollutants from motor vehicles: Particulate matter (PM). These particles of soot and metals give smog its murky color. ... Hydrocarbons (HC). ... Nitrogen oxides (NOx). ...

Still to come stay tuned Carbon monoxide (CO). ... Sulfur dioxide (SO2). ... Hazardous air pollutants (toxics). ... Greenhouse gases..
